Thank you for purchasing our beautiful British blooms. We guarantee all stems have a vase life of at least five days. We recommend taking the following steps to ensure their longevity in your home so that you can enjoy them for as long as possible.

KEEP YOUR VESSEL CLEAN

Change the water every day.

If possible, a fresh vase every day is even better. Cleaning your vase in a dishwasher between uses. Hot soapy water is a great alternative.

Ensure there are no leaves below the water line as they will decompose and cause a build up of bacteria.

ALLOW YOUR FLOWERS TO 'DRINK'

Snip the stems back 1-2 cm every day, which will allow the flowers to drink more efficiently. It's especially important to do this when you change the water.

Be sure to use a sharp pair of scissors, damaged or blunt blades will 'smush' the stems and damage the cell walls.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT SPOT

Place the flowers in a cool area away from heat sources and out of direct sunlight.

Avoid placing your flowers near ripening vegetables and fruit, especially bananas.

WHEN THEY'RE PAST THEIR PEAK

As stems start to fade, remove them singularly from your arrangement. The dying stems release ethylene that signals to the other flowers to also finish.

All of our flowers and foliage can be placed on your compost heap or organic waste recycling. We use no synthetic chemicals in the growing or conditioning of your flowers.
